Any advice would be appreciated.
Duggy is coming up to two, she's a black lab. Very cute, adorable and has the usual crazy lab personality.

We've kept her crate up as she likes it so much, more often than not taking herself off to bed when she's tired. Also, it's useful for if we have young children round or people who are wary of dogs.

One thing though, every morning at about 5am she starts scrabbling on the floor of the crate. The noise is worse than her barking or whining!
If you ignore it, after a couple of minutes she stops, but then before long she starts again.

I never go down when she's mid scrabbling as I know that's reenforcing bad behaviour, anyone got any ideas please?
