Re: Play Fighting

I don't play rough with mine...
And the reason being..
I used to play tug of war with Maizie and she is very strong.. Anyway I was out on a walk and I used to use lead ropes...(my horse rope) Anyway I was chatting with someone, Maizie suddenly started to play tug of war, using the rope.. She dragged me onto the road.... And she had totally turned off so wasn't listening..

I no longer play games like that. If she goes for the rope then I tell her off..

Plus the other form of playing fighting I don't want to encourage and her loose her head.. At the end of the day they are dogs and don't always realise they are hurting us.
