My cat is 8 now and has been on her own since her sister died about two years ago, at the time we lived ina family home so there were always people coming and going but the last year it has just been us two, and i have to work a fair bit. I would like to get her a litlle company but would prefer not to get another cat as she didnt get along to well with her sister sometimes. Also my fiance is moving in soon and has recently developed a mild allergy to my cat so i think she is probably my last cat.

Any thoughts on a suitable companion or are cats better with other cats?
