Perfect walk ruined again.

Was in the park with my mutt earlier, not for the first time a staffy approached and turned on my dog, bertie. He was just mooching about happily as he does when the little brown Brindle came over looking as if it wanted to play a bit, both had a bit of a sniff and the staff just turned without warning and went straight for his throat, resulting in me having to get between them and put bertie on his lead and get away. The owner of the staff just shrugged,'doesnt always take to other dogs!' and walked off without even an apology! Typical, not the first time and sure it wont be the last, there were kids in the park, other dogs etc and the owner didnt even put the staff back on the lead despite its obviously aggressive nature. If i had my way i would ban this breed from public places or insist that they were registered and muzzled.Same goes for any breed known for aggression and bred for fighting.
