I need some help. I went camping and came back and I have gradually become covered in fleas. When I say covered, I mean it, its getting ridiculous now, I can hardly sleep etc. I didn't get bitten when I was camping, only when I came back.

I have a cat however, which leads me to believe camping could have been a red herring and I just got fleas from the cat - and camping had nothing to do with it.

But the cat has had one of those flea spots so should not have fleas. But just to get some help, I managed to capture a flea and take a picture of it !

Please could anyone in the know chek it out and could you possibly tell me if it is a cat flea or a human flea... Meaning, should I boil all of my clothes and take serious measures around my house, or should I stop panicking and just treat my cat more???
