I was not speeding or being daft, i even had my kids in the car.
I stopped immediately, the cat was very hurt but breathing, i took the cat to my own vet & paid the bill out of my own pocket.
I even repaired the damage to my front bumper out of my own pocket
Luckily for the owners they were never traced, they would have been given all receipts for immediate reimbursement.
However they were not traced & the cat was re homed to a family friend of mine minus a leg.
So as you can see I'm firmly against allowing any pets to just roam!
