i have a 3 year old stafford and he is very timid. if one of us raises our voice (not at him) then he goes and gets in his bed. we have never ever hit him or screamed at him. he justs is wary of everything he has always been walked in the park and taken in car etc but justs seems a shy kinda pooch. surely whatever breed of dog you have can sometimes just be the quiet/timid one?????
