With our boy moving the treat over his head worked and after about doing this 5 times he did it on command so was learnt very quickly.

Now with my girl that way did not work at all, she just stood on her hind legs jumping up trying to get at the treat so we physically had to gently put her into the sit position, this was seemed to take a little longer for her to get it, but we got there in the end.

As for the stand command, when they are sitting show them a treat and start moving it away from them so they have to stand to get it, bang in the command when they stand and loads of praise. I must admit I found this one much harder with my 2, and I don't actually think they do that on command
