I seem to get ractions from some that you can't combine animas with young children and that they are some sort of dirty creatures that carry loads of disease I even had a coment that I could inhale a disease from the litter tray that could affect my unborn child.
Just wondeed if any of you had to deal with this sort of thing.
There is a disease you can pick up from your cats tray that can affect your unborn child. You should at the very least if there is no one else to clean up after them wear rubber gloves to clean it out especaially when they have pooed. As this is what carries the disease im sure its called toxoplasmosise not sure if thats spelt right . I am suprised your midwife or doctor has not warned you of this as it can be very dangerous to unborn children. Cant help on the breeding side as never bred cats since i was little but when i was pregnant with my first son my mother in law wanted me to get rid of my cats and dog as she thought they were dirty etc. Needless to say they all stayed and we never had any problems with them at all.
