When you say that all four sleep and eat in the conservatory do you think that maybe Sophie needs somewhere that is more her own territory so to speak? I had three 'mature' cats - 13, 12 and 12 and brought home two kittens. There was much hissing and snarling but I found that when I started feeding them in separate areas of the house and let some sleep on the landing upstairs and others downstairs, things improved greatly.

They're still not the best of friends but they tolerate each other and rub along together well enough.

Just a thought that came to mind when reading your post.
It is possible I could try her in other conservatory as she seemed to be ok in there when we first got her. She will sleep on bed near roony during day if they are on my bed but has taken to getting on my youngest sons bed at min which is really the only room in the house the other cats dont go as they tend to sleep in my eldest sons room or on my bed. I am really struggling with what to do with her.She is now outside watching my eldest fix the go kart she loves to be around them.Other cats are asleep around house and i have had door open to conservatory she used to sleep in all day and she has been in there as she has her own leather settee in there and lays on back of it watching birds threw window. She seems worse in a morning when we let them in when we get up they all have access outside at night if they want to go out via a cat flap and are normally all sat at door waiting for us to open it. Wonder if it could be an attention thing either i have been sat thinking about it all day and different things keep coming to mind as to what it could be
