We purchased a 9 week old cocker spaniel, last Sat 9th Aug she came home. I have a cat called George who has always been number 1 in our house! He was not impressed at first, spat and hissed at Molly but that was it. I put another cat flat in the garage side door where George could go to get out of the way if he wanted to, he also has a cat flat in the kitchen door.

Anyway, this week George has been waiting for me coming home from work and I have been lifting him in the house to the garage to be fed, then I lift him to the stairs where he goes up to sleep on the landing (open stairway) in the front room.

Well last night George got brave and came into the front room walking....and sat on the settee staring at Molly who was on the floor, Molly just wagged her tail!

George stayed there then all night and went to sleep, it will take time especially with 3 cats but in the end they will all be best friends.
