Hi, I am hoping to change my dogs over to the BARF diet very soon as I've reasearched it and seen nothing negative - only positive things. We've tried a couple of chicken wings to see if they would take to it.

The problem I have now is that my OH does not want the dogs to touch him and especially not lick him and he doesn't want to pick their toys up because he says eating things like raw chicken will mean he will get salmonella from them...... Is this likely to happen? how long after eating is it "safe" for them to lick you etc.

I'm starting to loose my argument to change their diet because of this so any helpful advice or good websites to look at would be appreciated.
