Hi, last monday my dog decided to attack my 5 month old kitten completely out of the blue. They had been getting on like a house on fire up until then, but for some reason she just went for her. It all happened so fast and my kitten ran behind the telly unit. When I pulled it out to check him, he was just led there lifeless. He is still at the vets and they said he has no broken bones (which is good) but had paralysis in his hind legs and left front leg. They have since told me that his hind legs are now working and although weak they think that it was temporary paralysis, but his front leg has not made so much progress. They are keeping him in until the end of the week to see if there's any improvement, but what if there's not? What then? Am I going to be faced with the decision to amputate? Or will I have to make adjustments to have him home as he is? Has anyone got any ideas/ advice please? A very distraught cat lover x
