Thank very much for your reply am so glad this is classed as normal behavior as she is doing really well .Its just a real shame that there are so many strays here,also the vet bills are half of what they are in the Uk and we have been very lucky to find a good one.
We moved out here last October so this is our first summer living here but brought out with us our 2 cats from the Uk, 1 is a long haired male tabby and he is a large cat,he copes very well in the heat doing nothing during the day sleeping in the shade ( has taken to the siesta very easily!) he really is a layed back cat ,and our female lazes about in the shade until tea time then she appears eats and then is off again.Has been extremely hot over the last few days which I should imagine will continue through August ,we have had no rain since first week of May so very dry indeed,never thought I would say it but looking forward to some!.
