Hey folks, me again! I'm not sure if I have been very unlucky or if (like i suspect) I'm experiencing new kitten teething probs.
It's Tiffany again, after her going through a phase of being sick daily for four days or so it seemed to stop. Like I said before she is otherwise fine, eating, drinking, playing, peeing and pooing. She doesn't appear dehydrated when I pinch her scruff it goes straight back and her gums and eyes look good. I got 3 days grace from the sick but it started again on Sunday and has been daily since. I have been in contact with the vet and we thought she was gorging her food and being a bit greedy then when the food swelled up in her tummy she was briging it up so I tried puttig some water in the dry food but this morning she was sick again so we have an appointment at the vet.
Just for info the sick just looks like swelled up mushy Go-Cat and I can't find aything untoward in it.
It just seems to be one thing after another with this one, peeing on bed which thankfully I sorted, pooing on rug which thankfully would seem to be a one off, five types of cat food to find one she will eat and now sick every morning!! I am kinda taking it in my stride, first time cat owner and even after just 4 weeks I wouldn't be without her for anything, unfortunately my OH doesn't share my compassion, he is convinced she is a sickly kitten (she was the runt and was very small etc but has come on leaps and bounds) and will never be well and that we will spend the rest of her life in debt to pay vets bills.
I know where he is coming from money is pretty tight for him just now and the cat was a joint descision but unfortunately he can't afford fortnghtly vet visits. I will find the money, I wouldn't have gotten a kitten if I couldn't afford to look after her properly but some emotional support would be nice, I get so angry when he suggests we rehome her, shes my girl and I couldn't part with her even though if I put my sensible hat on I can see some of what he says making sense.
I will update after the vet visit, hopefully it is nothing serious, I wouldn't even mind cleaning the sick daily if I knew Tiffany was fine. Sorry for the long post I just feel a bit worried and deserted
