I'm not sure of the benefits as adults or even older puppies, it's been very beneficial up until now for toilet training but they've spent the last four nights with the crate doors open and been clean and good. When I've nipped out they've also been left with the run of the front of the house with no problems.
Jayjay prefers to go downstairs and sleep on the laminate floor at night and Trinnys happy to sleep under the bed with Milo. Neither of them are destructive apart from to each other so they seem rather pointless now BUT they have been a great aid up until now!
