Re: Crate Training

I own two rescue greyhounds, and we got them aged 6 and 5. They were terrified at the mere sight of a crate, and they both fear small spaces (I wonder if it reminds them of being shoved in the traps at the racetrack?). Either way, they do not need a crate anyway, we have no trouble leaving them, they've never chewed anything or done anything.

However if I had a puppy or perhaps any other breed, I would crate train. I know so many people have found them beneficial.
