I was only directing the first bit of my post at you, and it was meant to be a question, but I forgot my question mark. However, My mum and hsuband both live and WORK in the far east (Thailand, poor part, bot city) and Vietnam and Singapore and what they see and what I have seen out there is what i said, which is why i was asking the question as to whether the dogs you has seen may have been the ones that survived.

The rest o fmy post was not a lecture, but intended to be a helpful response to the OP, as she asked what human foods dogs could eat and mentioned what had they used to do in the old days when they didnt have all this new fangled info
