Dogs ate what they should be eating now years ago, IMO, albeit a less 'luxirious' version. Meat, fish, bones and table scraps. In the wild they woudl eat meat, bones and carcasses, which would include vegetable matter, and whatever they could scavenge.

Giving dogs meat, fish and/or bone plus some veggies is fine. Onions should be avoided, and brocolli and any of the cabbage family shouldn't be fed in large amounts. Herring should also not be fed in excess. Cheese is also OK in smallish amounts.

Anything else, such as plain biscuits etc shouldn't do any harm in small amounts. Can't see it being THAT different to dog biscuits.

You can also stuff Kongs with peanut butter, cream cheese and pate.

All bones should be raw.

Although having travelled to Thailand I was talking more about Indonesia.

And also I am aware of what dogs eat/ ate in the wild so thank you for your lecture!!

Oh and I did live and WORK in the Far East probably amongst some of the poorest people in the world so I do know what I am talking about and what I did see.

Thanks again.
