I just got myself two rescued chicks from a friend's pet snake, Their poor cries made me helpless and I had to rescue them. I decided I'll raise them in my yard as a natural pest control.
Anyway when I was transferring them to my place, they got out their box and ran away. There was a light rain and it got really hot.

When I found them they were under a brush. They seem kind of scared and shaky. They are still that way and one of them's voices seems kind of cracked?

I never had chicks before and I was wandering if anyone can give me some basic tips and advice. I was also wandering if the chicks could be possibly sick and if so how do I cure them?
