Very good. I agree new owners should read something like this. Everything in it is true.

But unfortunately I think with some people it doesn't matter what they read, or what someone tells them about owning a puppy involves, they still go out and get one. Then they cannot cope with the puppy stuff and get rid. Some people are very selfish and rather imature about it and just do it for their own pleasure, because they think owning a puppy is all fun and games and will be cute and cool, but then realise that the above statement is true and they should have thought of that before getting a puppy.

Trouble is, some people only learn from their mistakes... which means lots of dogs getting put in rescue centres. If only they got their adult head on before hand some people just don't live in reality.
