My lot always travel in cages in the back of the car. If I am taking more dogs than I have room for in the back they travel on the back seat but always with harnesses on. Some one told me it is now illegal to have a dog in the car that is not either fastened down wearing a harness or in a cage.

When the setter Zoe was young she didn't travel well in the back of the car but was fine on the seat wearing her harness she soon grew out of it though.Some dogs just don't travel well in the back
