One or two of my cats calling wouldnt bother me to be honest got so used to it now. I go along with reasons for not getting them mated such as lack of condition, too short a time inbetween litters, too young and so on and there are things you can get to suppress a call, but I too have never heard of a contraceptive jab for cats and would be interested to know just out of curiosity what its effective ingredients are confused:

The other thing to bear in mind of course, is that it is not healthy for an entire female to go for too many calls without being mated due to the risk of a Pyometra.
