I definately beleive if you are allergic to pets but own them you build up more of a immunity ,my sister and brother have bad exzema and asthma but my mum always had cats ,my sister now has 4 cats and isnt to bad but if she comes to my house her eyes puff up and she cant breath due to my dogs my brother when he left home hasnt got any pets and cannot come to mine or sisters due to our pets as he would have an instant asthma attack
I really think the body adjusts its just wether the person is willing to suffer the uncomfortablness it causes
