I'd look up on the net or ask your vet if they are found in your area. Do not panic as you need a few to make trouble. And yes they can travel onto all other warm blooded creatures (i.e cats and humans) If they appear on either, the tea tree solution is best. I really think asking if they are in your area is best as they could be just a white harmless type. The vet would know
