She is still on puppy food wet and dry mixed, I am changing her next week when I run out of the food onto adult food. I will try the cod liver oil, my sister told me about that.
I dont want to clip her because its only one area of her fur. And she is so beautiful.
But I am wondering if it is a change in her coat from puppy to adult.

It is a change from puppy to adult and she it matting where most tt's do it is a horrible stage to try to get through but there are a lot of rules to follow
1. Try to bath every 3 days and condition
2. Never dry brush or comb alway wet the coat.
3. Dont pull any knots with a comb always tease them gently with your fingers first
4. Try not to let them get wet (easier said than done with British weather!!!)
5. Never leave them wet this is when is knots worse
Food should be rich in oil I feed Royal Canin or Robbies Holistic to my TTs, JWB is ok but did find my two were a bit loose when I fed this - one of the best foods is the Royal Canin Shih Tzu - it has a high digestion rate and they poo little rabbit pellets, keeps it off the precious coat
