thankyou both for your advice unfortunatly we cant have her indoors because my dogs would kill her she is a very timid cat but since we started feeding her she has got better but she shoots off when anyone other than me or my family get to close. My next door neighbours are also very sorry for her & are letting us keep her in 1 of our dog cages in their garage whilst she recovers from the op providing it all goes well, so fingers crossed for her because shes had a really hard life shes been roaming around for at least 8yrs with no one to care for her
