Most dogs don't get the point of weave poles so you have to sound really excited about them while you do them and use the lead to weave them through.

My ridgeback boxer has been doing agility training for 3 years and because of his size he has only just started to understand them and when I went last week it was the first time he has manage to do it all by himself I was so proud but he is an exception most get it before 3 years! In the end my son and myself would stand either side and block him with our knees while I guided him with his collar - at last he has learnt to bend his body!
