how i was shown, was have the dog on lead stand at the side of the poles have a fav toy or treats in one hand with the lead, slowly go backwards, weaving your hand in and out and every time they move though one pole give a treat and the toy at the end.
while doing this say weave.
then when they get used to this give the treat every other pole and so on until treat comes at the end, then you can start to speed it up when they are used to going through the poles.
