Is she neutered Crofty ? If not it sounds like Mammary hyperdyplasia. My queen that has the kittens at the minute had it when she was about a year old, it was awful. Hers was really bad though, both sides so badly swollen. The vet said he's never seen anything so bad in a cat. I was set to get her speyed, but the vet gave her an injection of Alizan(not sure of spelling) it worked.
