Re: Changing To Raw

No need to slowly do it , you can just swap him over , try easy meats to start that wont be too rich such as chicken and turkey , try getting it minced with the bone from the carcas or just raw whole wings ect , then introduce other meats such as beef , and lamb and dont forget the odd portion of fruit or veg pulped is best as it digests better ensuring the dog gets as much from it as possible . work on a rough 2-3 % of his body weight to feed as a daily amount our girls weigh about 29 kilo so we started on 600 gms a day split into 2 meals i then dropped it to 500 gms as we need them to loose a bit of weight and they are doing great on it , we give just meat in the morning and on the evening we give meat and a veg pulp that i do at the start of the week and bag it into portions and freeze it , just make sure its defrosted before you give it to him , veg can be almost anything , i do carrot and cabbage sometimes spinach , also brocolli , and peas . most green leafy veg is great avoid onion and mushrooms and sweetcorn .
