Our youngest cat(3 yrs) who we are shortly going to have spayed has developed a strange and slightly concerning behaviour during her latest season.

It appears to be too painful for her to sit normally, and she is adopting more of a "squat" as though she were about to pee.

Is this something to be concerned about, or is it not totally uncommon behaviour?
