Now that brings back memories. It was the first modern piece of sheet music I ever bought, played it till my fingers were sore (should have been practising for one of my Associated Board Exams at the time ).

Well before our music lesson which was held in the great hall complete with a baby grand. The teachers decided to have a meeting so we were bored I was asked (dared) to play it. I did my back was to the door just as I played the bit between verse and chorus everything went quiet (so it should) I was off like a good un, even my bum was swinging.

In walked the music teacher I got a right rocket that piano is not for honky tonk playing (gutted I thought I was quite good!) I ended up having to study music as one of my GCE's. (best punishment I ever received )
