hello everyone

This is my first time posting on this forum !

Basically I'm looking for some advice from people that really know cats.

I've started feeding a cat in the last two weeks , who is a stray. He was really thin and very nervous (would run if I so much as looked at him). He's now filled out and is letting me pat his head etc.
I'd really like to hold onto him as he's stolen my heart

basically I will have to keep him as an outdoor cat as a family member who visits regularly has allergies to cats.

Can anyone recommend a good outdoor cat house? I'm living in Ireland so it would have to be pretty durable against dampness ! I've been looking online and have seen KatKabins, I'm not sure they're quite what I'm looking for

Also , any ideas how I can get the cat into a carrier to take him to the vet to get him neutred / checked out . I doubt he'll let me pick him up !!
