My GSD Viva suffers in the heat too....she doesnt help herself as she likes laying in the sun . I give her ice cubes she enjoys crunching them into small pieces then eating them. i also brought from pets at home some dog ice pops but i found they made her hypo. I also brought her a paddling pool which she loved until she tried to dig a hole whilst in it and ripped the bottom i will definatly be getting a tougher one for her as she loved playing in it. She also likes cooling down by laying in the bath as its cold she sleeps in it at night as well. and she also loves a good water fight lol
