Ive given caulophyllum to my queens during labour and maybe its just coincidence but all the kittens were born quickly without too much straining for the queen.
Saynamore that does surprise me, Ive never had a Pyo case but have heard they normally use conventional drugs to treat it so am surprised you have a vet who recommended the other instead.
Is there any chance of you remembering what it was you gave your girl as I would like to keep this in mind if needed in future?

I was prescribed conventional drugs when it was a normal pus pyometra but they werent working and it advanced to a bleeding pyometra, which meant it had started attacking the internal organs. I will look through my medicine cabinet and see if I can find it. She would have had to have major surgery if that hadnt worked so you can imagine how I thought of it as a little miracle
