Our old fella had it a few months back as was realy strugling with his back legs I only gave him 1/4 of the dose & got him some glucosomine thats kicked in now & he's great

I did ask the vet at the time & as Simba had recently had bloods done he said he should be fine its usually a problem for cats who have an underlying problem already but Im still very wary of it. Banjo was on it for months & had to have a blood test done in December just to check all was ok he's on different stuff now I think the dog metacam is slightly different though.
