we have 6 siberian huskies & they are definately not a breed for everybody they can be very destructive especially if left on their own, they must NEVER be allowed off lead as their recall is very unpredictable & their prey drive is so strong, many huskies have been shot by farmers for worrying livestock or hit by cars, as a dog bred to work they do need lots of excercise to keep them happy. They have no guarding instincts & although some can be quite aloof most of them love everybody burglers included! When they shed their fur you can practically fill a bin liner.
we have bred 1 litter & kept 3 of the 4 puppies as we were so worried they would'nt get suitable homes. Jo
