I also wonder if we did get a boy would it matter if the new boy was not neutered untill he was 6 months old, how this would affect our rabbit who is ready neutered?

Does anyone have any advice?
Change your vet!!! What a load of rubbish!

Boys even neutered are incrediably hard to bond, it can be done but often does not work. a neutered female is the best option, there are thousands in rescues looking for a boyfriend! Rabbit Rehome - Adopt an unwanted bunny from a rescue centre

I tried to bond 2 rescued boys, it worked until the younger one got older, they were both neutered and they ended up seriously fighting, i tried everything. Both boys are now happily settled with neutered female companions!

My loved up couple
