Re: clicky hips

do you know if the breeder had all the necessary health checks done on her bitch before breeding her ,Im not sure if bulldogs have hip scoring as some other breeds do but it may be a question you might like to ask her / him, . Clicking of hips can be a bad sign in some dogs not sure about bulls though , it can indicate the cartillage being loose around the joint thus allowing the hip to slip slightly in its socket , this in the long term can cause arthritis as wearing to the head of the hip joint will be painfull if not checked , ask your breeder if she knows if her bitch has any problems or if the sire does , im not saying that she may try to misslead you but dont be surprised if she says no , also the breeder if co-operative may be the best person to advise you on your questions if she is vague or you feel your question have not been answered then go to your vet , I hope you have inurance as x rays ect and any treatment may be costly . This is just my opinion someone else may have more of an idea .
