Re: advice needed please

Hello Kate and welcome. Whilst eight months is rather young for a little cat to already be pregnant, I think she will cope. We have had a few threads on here recently covering the topics that you may find useful to read through. I suggest you have a peep on the thread started by George on 21st May entitled "Had a show - how long until 1st kitten?" - this is quite long so you may just want to look at some of the others to give you further bits of information - some contain rather gooey pictures.

Do you know what date your cat "escaped on honeymoon"? Working from this date, I suggest you count 65 days and that would be the approximate date on which kittens can be expected. I say approximate because the gestation is typically between 63 and 70 days - a wide gap I know but some breeds like to keep one waiting longer than others.
