i think changing foods couldmake matters worse
as with most animals, sudden changes in diet can cause tummy upsets
and a few minor stool troubles

you could however gradualy try difrent things and seewhat gets the best results

it could be the batch of food you got

this may sound silly but have you tryed worming treatment recently?

now we had simlar issues with our cat
and we found out loose stools can be a sign of worms present

we got worming treatment in the form of syrup not powder as as most people will tell you tablets or powder in with food is practcaly an imposible mission lol

but yeah after a few days it went away so we thought perhaps it was a case of worms or just an upset tummy

i can only suggest try that if you havent recenty tryed worming
or gradual changes of food like gradualy mix over a few days untill you have changed foods then keep at it for a week if no change gradualy change again

but if worried i would consult vet for expert advice as it does sound
more like tummy troubles
