Re: fear of lead

Try leaving out the lead so that your dog can investigate it in its own time , its wierd some of the things that frighten a dog for no reason , but not forcing the lead on him would mean he goes to investigate when he is ready . ignore him as much as possible if he acts up whe you try and put it on try short periods of time with the collar on and praise good behaviour and response and ignor the behaviour you dont want , slowly add the lead to the equasion again for short periods of time and reward . it will come eventually . B/C can be quite highly strung and are very intelligent so let him be nosy and he will soon get it .
