I'm looking at Beagles, Airdale terriers and Finnish lapphunds - bit of a difference between them I know

My mum works part time, (half a day weekdays) but I'll be starting college in september and won't be at school all day, so the potential dog won't be left alone for any longer than 2-3hrs (is that ok?!). We plan to get him/her soonish though so we've got a good 10weeks to get them settled at home whilst we're all on summer break.
