Dog owning is NOT a right, it is a privilage and it is a pity more people do not see it that way. If people can't find a breed that suits them, in looks, temprement and manageability, then maybe dog owning is not for them.
If, by 'turning my face against the development of new breeds' I am seeking to impose my will on others, aren't those who wish to corssbreed/breed momgrels/crate new breeds simply doing the same thing? In the same vein, if I feel that dogs which are bred from should have the appropriate health tests, aren't I also imposing my will upon others? Would that be wrong also?
