Unhappy Re: Shock Collars debate

Hi
I use the half choke after attending training classes and getting a recommendation from them. My pup is a staffie and we were starting to have problems with him pulling on the lead and this was recommended as a way to help manage this - and i have to say it has worked. He is so much better walking now... i found that on his normal collar he would pull despite nearly choking himself but with this because he gets more of a surprise he stops ...

I would never use a full choke as i don't like the thought of how they would feel for him and feel these are cruel .. never considered the half choke the same way (maybe this is me being naive) - my aim is that we use it as a training tool and not a permanent collar so i am hoping it will disappear from our lives over the coming months!

are they the same as full choke??
