I agree, they should be banned - animals deserve to be treat with respect and while I passionately believe that dogs should be trained and obey commands for their own safety and quality of life there are so many different ways to achieve this!!

I first saw them on The Dog Whisperer and was shocked that they are allowed ... and those horrible collars with prongs .. I couldn't bring myself to use them!!

I even have a problem with choke chains ... I use a partial one which gives the correction without actually choking him!!

I agree ban the shock collars!!!
