It's normal kitten behavoiur. What about the dangly toys on sticks, we have tons of those for kittens, that way they can jump about and use up energy without you having shredded hands, lol. Cats/kittens don't understand timeout. If you shut them up, they just exert more energy after. Do you have climbers ect for him ? they are a good energy buster
