We had to give him them orally as he is not eating at the minute he just sleeps as he is sensitive to the light. Im so pleased to hear about another cat in a different thread and i hope we have caught my cats problem early enough to restore some of his sight to his left eye, or even just to not let the same happen to his right eye. I had no idea so many cats suffer with this same problem and pleased to hear that if managed they can live normal lives. He has not suffered any other problems just the sudden blindness so hopefully we have caught his thyroid problem at the beginning.
Just wondered if anyone has any advice for us?

Sorry to hear that your cat is going through that problem but vomiting is actually one of the most common signs of
hyperthyroidism in cats. With the
medication given, this will help the cat in regulating
hyperthyroidism.
