when we had our 1st pup at my parents house years ago he was trained on paper- he got confused if we put him outside until we put the paper down out in the garden. once he gets used to going on the paper outside, gradually take it away. it should work.

were being brave with the pup my fiance and i just bought. no paper- just watching him, taking him out lots, and trying to get him going outside asap!!!
